Core

Core is a clean-label nutrition and wellness brand dedicated to stripping dietary supplements down to their essential, high-functioning foundation. By replacing highly processed pantry staples and synthetic filler supplements with nutrient-dense, superfood-based powder alternatives, Core empowers health-conscious consumers to effortlessly optimise their daily meals.

Brand Identity

The Core wordmark is built on geometric precision and visual restraint, which is a reflection of the brand’s nothing-unnecessary philosophy. Clean lines and balanced proportions communicate trust and transparency, while a subtle organic curve in the letterforms nods to the natural, superfood-based ingredients at the heart of every product.

Typography & Swatches

Core’s type system pairs a structured geometric sans-serif for headlines with a clean, highly legible body face. The colour system serves a dual purpose: emotional resonance and functional user navigation. Instead of relying on a singular brand colour, a semantic matrix was engineered to handle product differentiation across the e-commerce storefront.

The Foundational Unit: The Core Shape

I began with one irreducible unit: the quadrant. This quarter-circle is the root variable of the entire system. It represents the starting point, the core, the singular superfood ingredient. By applying mathematical rules of rotation and adjacent combination, we transformed this single ‘core-ness’ into numerous unique motifs.

The Product Architecture

To streamline the digital shopping experience and eliminate choice paralysis, the Core ecosystem is built on a disciplined, four-part product taxonomy. Each mix targets a distinct functional health requirement and is anchored by its own semantic colorway and geometric icon, creating a highly scannable visual system that effortlessly bridges physical packaging with digital e-commerce wayfinding.
